Nobody wanted to do it, so we told him to go somewhere else. He couldn't believe we wanted nothing to do with it. Still, I dislike the habit of setting the type in all caps. Blackletter fonts, Germanic Frakturs and Celtic Unicals are all close cousins to traditional calligraphic scripts. Any typophile knows one should never set a script in all caps. Or for a more modern example to follow, Motorhead's logo isn't set in all caps. There's lots of great blackletter fonts to use. Old English is the most known. Other types like American Text, Linotext, San Marco or Wilhelm Klingspor Gotisch may lend a bit more variety to blackletter inspired tattoo lettering.
